In a little more than a year, more than 725,000 sf of retailers have chosen Alamo Ranch as one of their next retail locations. This premiere power center is a 100-acre, 900,000+ square foot development currently under construction at the convergence of Loop 1604, State Highway 151 and Culebra Road in San Antonio, Texas. Alamo Ranch will be home to SuperTarget, JC Penney, Lowe's Home Improvement and over 550,000 square feet of additional retail space including Best Buy, PetSmart, Dick's Sporting Goods, Ross Dress for Less, and Marshalls. Many of these retailers will open by or before late July 2008.

TXDOT work is nearing completion to widen Culebra Road from Loop 1604 out to Westwood Loop, upgrading it from a two-lane black top road to a five-lane major thoroughfare. Completion is estimated for the beginning of July.
The Loop 1604 Frontage Road construction is well underway and is projected to be complete in early July 2008 prior to the center's Grand Opening.
